Tingley Creek Rockers are Straight from the Forest to You
Here is the work that goes into making a Tingley Creek Rocking Chair.

The process starts by walking through the forest selecting the right trees for making furniture and then a logger falls the trees that were chosen.
Horses are used to bring the wood to a landing.
At the landing a portable band saw mill cuts the logs into dimensional lumber to our specifications.
Next the lumber is kiln dried at a small local kiln and then trucked to our woodworking shop located on our home property where we make the lumber into rocking chairs.
The wood goes from standing in the forest to being a rocking chair without ever going to any town or large processing facility.
An heirloom to enjoy now and for generations to come.
